What is INDUS-X?
INDUS-X stands for India-United States Defense Acceleration Ecosystem. It is a strategic alliance in technology and defense industry collaboration between India and the United States. It was launched on 21st June 2023 in Washington, D.C.
The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) was established in 2017. It serves as a bridge between business and government, promoting closer public-private partnerships across all areas of the economy and society in both the United States and India.

Why in News?
Recently, the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum has announced the third India-US Defense Acceleration Ecosystem (INDUS-X) Summit, which will held in conjunction with Stanford University’s Gordian Knot Center for National Security Innovation and the Hoover Institute.

The summit aims to unite leading defense policymakers from Washington and New Delhi to strengthen technology partnerships in defense innovation.
